Daniel Johnson

Daniel E. Johnson is co-founder and director of Defence for Environment and Sustainable Development (DESD). He is a Bachelor of Arts degree holder from Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone. He worked with the then Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS) now Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) as a reporter, producer and editor from 1998 to 2005.

The causes of this decline range from extreme poverty to unsustainable production and consumption patterns; to poor governance and inadequate policy and institutional responses to meet the environmental challenges faced by current and future generations.
