Ansumana Swarray is the Co-founder and Chairman of Defence for Environment and Sustainable Development (DESD). Ansumana is an Environmental Scientist, activist and strategist and also a Water and Sanitation Specialist.

Daniel Johnson |

 |
Daniel E. Johnson is co-founder and director of Defence for Environment and Sustainable Development (DESD). He is a Bachelor of Arts degree holder from Fourah Bay College, the University of Sierra Leone. He worked with the then Sierra Leone Broadcasting Service (SLBS) now Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) as a reporter, producer and editor from 1998 to 2005.

Junisa P. Bangali is a co-founder and one of the directors of DESD "LG". He studied at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He holds degrees in English Language/Sociology and in Law. He has taught for a couple of years and at the moment he is a legal practitioner.
